PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

Essential

Qualifications
Full UK Driving Licence 
Some form of relevant Youth Work, Teaching, Group Leadership or Development Training qualification

Skills
Ability to communicate and engage with young people with mild and moderate learning difficulties
Ability to work within organisational policies and guidelines
Effective personal organisation
Good oral and written presentation skills
Ability to work with local communities and their members
Development and maintenance of robust partnerships
Ability to develop personal skills in young people

Experience
A minimum of one year's experience of working effectively with young people
Management of information
Demonstrable experience of working effectively with clients exhibiting challenging behaviour
Working with project targets
Collating and reporting on project targets

Terms and Conditions:

Salary Scale Points: £14,272
Other Pay: N/A

Hours:
21 Hours per week within Monday to Friday 9-5pm

Holidays:
Pro-rata of 20 days leave plus 3 days between Christmas and New Year plus 8 statutory holidays, increasing by 1 day per year for 5 years.

Pension:
The auto-enrolment of the employee will be postponed for three months. After this date, subject to eligibility, the employee will be auto enrolled into our work place pension in line with legislation.

Sheffield Office

Probation
3 months probationary period

Travel requirements
This post is only required to travel to regional offices on rare occasions.

Travel Allowances:
Mileage is paid at 45p per mile
