The Casual Worker will be part of Endeavour’s delivery team who report to the Head of Operations.
The Casual Worker will collaborate with all staff leading delivery work.
This recruitment drive is looking for individuals who can initially deliver on Endeavour’s Alternative Education Provision as competent seconds.
There may also be opportunities to work with our Youth Work team.
The Casual Worker will ensure each participant has an opportunity to learn new skills and develop qualities that help prepare them for their future.
They will support young people to make friends and memories that will enrich their lives.
They will facilitate group and one-to-one discussions, ensure and support free expression, encourage engagement in social action and enable young people to take control, have a voice and develop as advocates/youth leaders.
●Support the planning and delivery of AEP sessions, tailored to individual learner needs
●Create safe, inclusive environments that promote learning, fun and personal development
●Build positive, trusting relationships with young people, acting as a role model and source of guidance
●Assist in managing dysregulation and behaviour confidently using a relational, trauma-informed approach to uphold a positive session culture
●Support with logistics, including session setup, resources, and pack-down
●Contribute to feedback and reflection processes to support ongoing learning and programme development
●Understand and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
