Jane Haywood, MBE

Jane was Chief Executive of the Children’s Workforce Development Council. Her work included a transformational programme for early years workers, social workers and care workers. Other roles included leadership in the senior civil service and Chair of Improvement Boards and 2 Safeguarding Boards. She is a trustee at the National Day Nurseries association and was interim Chair at Henshaws. Jane is a lifelong volunteer and leads a small charity, Kirklees Summer Playscheme Camp, with her husband. She received an MBE for her work with Children and Young People in 2005.

Jane is our trustee with responsibility for safeguarding.
