Mark Kittle
Mark has been working either in the outdoors or with young people since graduating in 2013 having studied physical geography at Aberystywth University. This has been spent working in both employed and voluntary positions, in the UK and abroad.
Mark holds a range of outdoor qualifications in canoe, kayak, climbing, mountain biking, orienteering, skiing and archery as well as having experience delivering sessions in team building, zip wire, high ropes and low ropes activities.
On leaving Sheffield, Mark lived first in Wales and then the Scottish Highlands working to deliver a trainee instructor scheme helping train individuals working towards outdoor qualifications and a career in the outdoors.
Mark and his family returned to Sheffield in August 2020 and Mark completed a PGCE in Secondary Geography. He now enjoys using outdoor activities as a way of going and experiencing the environments that most people only see images of in the classroom.
Mark enjoys working as part of the supportive Endeavour team and is excited about combining the lessons learnt from a PGCE with his experience delivering outdoor activities to improve the experience of everyone involved.
In his own time Mark enjoys even more time outdoors, especially canoeing and kayaking, as well as spending time with his wife and daughter and going for walks with his very excitable Border Collie.
He also enjoys tabletop wargaming and helping to lead his Church’s youth group.
