Creating Safe, Inclusive and Ambitious Futures for Young People
At Endeavour, we believe every young person deserves access to safe spaces, trusted adults and opportunities that help them thrive. Our youth work provision supports children and young people across Sheffield through inclusive, relationship-based programmes that build confidence, resilience, belonging and aspiration.
Working from the Endeavour Centre in Burngreave and through outreach delivery across North East Sheffield, we are working towards providing a wide range of youth-led activities for young people aged 12–19 and up to 25 for young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). Our programmes are shaped by the voices of local young people and families and are designed to remove barriers to participation, particularly for those facing disadvantage, exclusion or isolation.
We work alongside young people who may:
- Have special educational needs or disabilities
- Be experiencing poverty, trauma or social isolation
- Come from communities that have historically faced barriers to accessing services
- Be looked after children or care leavers
- Be newly arrived in Sheffield or the UK
- Be disengaged from education, employment or training
- Be at risk of child criminal exploitation

Our approach is rooted in trust, consistency and inclusion. We meet young people where they are — physically, emotionally and socially — and create opportunities that feel welcoming, relevant and genuinely accessible.
Building Youth Provision for the Future
We are continuing to grow and strengthen youth provision across Sheffield so that more young people can access safe spaces, trusted relationships and meaningful opportunities close to where they live.
Over the coming months and years, we are working to expand our youth clubs, outreach programmes, SEND provision and outdoor activities, while developing new partnerships and creating more opportunities for young people to shape the services they want and need.
This includes building more open access youth sessions, developing specialist provision for young people with additional needs, creating new volunteering and leadership pathways, and bringing youth work directly into communities through our mobile outreach and detached youth work programmes.
We know that strong youth provision is built over time — through consistency, trust and listening to young people themselves. That is why we are committed to developing services that are inclusive, community-led and rooted in the realities of young people’s lives.
There is much more to come.
As new programmes, activities and opportunities develop, we will continue to share updates, launch new projects and create more ways for young people, families and communities to get involved.
Watch this space.
