UKSPF Impact Report: Building Confidence, Skills and Opportunities in Sheffield
Endeavour's UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) programme has helped people across Sheffield overcome barriers to employment, develop essential skills and build confidence in their futures.
Through a combination of outdoor activities, personal development, employability support and community partnerships, the programme has provided opportunities for individuals facing significant challenges to take positive steps towards employment and greater independence.
Our latest impact report celebrates the achievements of participants and highlights the difference this support has made.
Supporting People to Overcome Barriers
As part of the UKSPF's Strand 1 Ambition initiative, Endeavour worked with individuals facing barriers to employment, including homelessness, health challenges, limited qualifications and social exclusion.
Across 60 sessions, participants took part in activities designed to improve confidence, wellbeing and work readiness.
From adventurous outdoor experiences such as climbing, caving and hiking to music production, gardening and tailored employment coaching, the programme offered a variety of opportunities for participants to develop new skills and discover their potential.
The Impact in Numbers
The report highlights several achievements from the programme:
60 participants took part in engagement sessions.
38 participants progressed to further Endeavour UKSPF employability support.
Over 50% attended at least four sessions.
15 participants were signposted to additional support services.
3 participants successfully secured paid employment.
Beyond these figures, the programme has helped individuals build confidence, develop independence and take meaningful steps towards their personal and professional goals.

Working alongside local organisations and community partners, Endeavour has provided tailored support to help participants overcome challenges and explore new opportunities.
